The Most Interesting Man on Twitter #MIMT

WordFlirt recently had the opportunity for an in depth interview with the reclusive Most Interesting Man on Twitter, often referred to as #MIMT. We are unfortunately unable to reveal any personal details about #MIMT because we will be subject to a slow and agonizing death if we do. We are able to share these fascinating facts:

  • He won’t say how old he is, but his first writing job was as Hemingway’s editor.
  • He knows the word that will strip you to the bone and set your soul on fire.
  • He doesn’t need to type his tweets. He simply wills the electrons to go where he wants them.
  • When he sees someone abusing one-upsmanship, he slaps them with some two-upsmanship.
  • His wit is so sharp he can expose a fool with a single devastating tweet.
  • The only time he was in Twitter jail, he led a mass jailbreak.
  • If you challenge him to a duel, his choice of weapons will be tweets at 20 parsecs.
  • With one tweet he could raise a billion for a Presidential campaign fund.
  • When you see the whale, he just tweeted.
  • He suggested “tweet” as a replacement for “twit”.
  • He has been nominated for a Pulitzer for one of his tweets.
  • His avi photo was taken by Annie Leibovitz.
  • You can’t find his account without a personal invitation.
  • If he follows you, your followers instantly increase by 100k.
  • When he tweets, all of Twitter takes a moment of silence.
  • When he complains about a Twitter feature, it is changed within 15 minutes.
  • He doesn’t tweet often, because Twitter bogs for hours with the RTs.
  • His number of followers is not listed because Twitter can’t count that high.
  • He can tweet in 14 languages and 250 unique fonts.
  • If he misspells a word, Twitter changes the official spelling to conform.
  • His tweets have changed the course of 4 national elections.
  • The right to a mention in one of his tweets for charity sold for $2.5M.
  • When Russian hackers launched an attack on Twitter through multiple computers, he destroyed them in 10 seconds. The Russians, that is.
  • His IP address is 111.111.111.111

    Steve,

I’ll admit, I thought perhaps you were going to do an expose piece on yourself but I was wrong! Or maybe not…
This is such a simple piece yet it is filled with such originality and each factoid left me laughing a little more than the previous one.
    Thank you Steve!
